We like to think of ourselves as a community, and part of being a community is being responsible for one another. Like everyone else, we’ve been watching the situation with the coronavirus (Covid-19) unfold and watching as major events (NHL, NBA, SXSW, Emerald City Comicon) and major gathering places (Disneyland) are closing to slow down the spread of the virus.
We recommend that everyone keep up with the Center for Disease Control’s guidelines and recommendations, and above all else, wash your hands a few extra times a day, with soap, for 20 seconds, as laid out in probably a dozen memes above and below this post on your feed. As to how it affects us?
We are going to be adding hand sanitizer to the store as soon as it is more widely available, but for right now, we will be wiping down surfaces, including our doors, with sanitizing wipes on a regular and frequent basis.
We are taking the step to change our store hours temporarily. For now, we are going to be open from Noon – 6 PM, seven days a week. To be honest, we want to make sure to keep our rent and employees paid, and we can’t do that if we dont have regular traffic, and we hope that you’ll consider helping us out by continuing to patronize the store. We are currently looking into online ordering and limited delivery options.
If you are immunocompromised or just nervous about COVID-19, please feel free to call or email us from your car, and as long as we have extra employees on hand, we will be happy to package up your items, come out to your car, and pick up either your cash or card to run the transaction in store for you.
We have temporarily suspended in-store gaming, and we have modified April’s prerelease event.
