Gaming with Rogues – Mysterium in November

2016-10-16-17-19-03On the third Saturday of every month, Rogues Gallery will host a casual gaming night – each month will focus on a different game. The game night will begin at 6:30 PM and run until 9:00 PM, when the store closes. In November, because the usual date will be so close to Thanksgiving, we’re going to host our game on the second Saturday in November.

This month’s game is on November 12th, and we’ll be hosting the Asmodee-supported game Mysterium, a cooperative, deduction game that challenges two to seven players to solve a murder that occurred thirty years ago. One player takes on the role of a restless ghost, tasked with communicating the true culprit of the murder to the assembled psychics. The other players all play as psychics, receiving visions and interpreting them to the best of their abilities in order to narrow down the list of suspects. Yet time is in no one’s favor tonight—if the players take too long to discover the truth, the bridge between the worlds is closed, and the ghost must wait another year to reach its eternal rest!

We’ve got two sets of Mysterium, so that’s room for up to 14 players, and in addition, we have prizes courtesy of the Asmoplay organized play system. So we’ll have exclusive vision cards for all participants, ghost masks for those who play the ghosts and sets of alternate colored intuition tokens for the best “psychic” at each table!

So whether you’ve played Mysterium before or just want to try it out, come join us for Gaming with Rogues! And don’t forget that with your Rogue Card, you can get 10% off on Mysterium from now until the next Gaming with Rogues selection is chosen!

Also, Gaming with Rogues is an open game night, so folks are welcome to play any game in our well-stocked boardgame and card game library or bring a favorite game of their own!
