Free Comic Book Day is Saturday, May 4!
It’s that time of the year… the holiday all comics fans wait for is approaching!
Free Comic Book Day will take place on Saturday, May 4th from 10 AM to 7 PM! We’ll have a wide assortment of comics available, and everyone will be welcome to grab three or four each, and return later in the day to grab more if they want. We want to make sure everybody gets a chance, which is why we limit the number you can grab up front.
As is our tradition, we’ll also be announcing the date and guest line-up for June’s All-Ages Awesomeness. We’re excited as always to offer another all-ages event to follow up Free Comic Book Day each year.
You can see a full list of the comics available HERE.
MTG Dragon’s Maze Pre-Release on Sunday, April 28th!
FIRST ROUND BEGINS AT NOON – SECOND ROUND BEGINS AT 3:30 – PRE-REGISTRATION STRONGLY RECOMMENDED
Rogues Gallery will be holding two pre-release events for Magic: The Gathering’s newest set, Dragon’s Maze, on Sunday, April 28th! We recommend that you call or email ahead to pre-register, because we have limited space and tend to fill up well before the day of the event itself. We have room for 16 players in the first event, beginning at noon, and 16 players in the second event, beginning at 3:30 PM. If space allows, we are happy to allow players to play in both pre-release tournaments… players will have to buy-in to both tournaments, you cannot carry over cards or decks from the first pre-release into the second. In addition, of late we’ve had folks sign up and not show up, so if you don’t get in on your preferred time, you are welcome to sign up as an alternate or to come in on the day and try to get available spaces.
Please note that while we welcome you signing up as attending on the Facebook event page, that does not count as pre-registration. You must call, email or visit the store to get on our pre-registration list.
Registration will begin at noon on July 8th. We’ll begin the first event at 12:30 with 30 minutes to construct your decks, and the pre-release will run 3 rounds from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM (at the latest). Please note that if you are pre-registered, you must arrive by 12:15 to claim your spot or it will be opened up for walk-ins.
The second tournament will begin registration at 3:30, and the tournament will start as close to 4 PM as we can manage, with 30 minutes to construct your decks. Please note for those pre-registered, you must arrive by 3:45 to claim your spot or it will be opened up for walk-ins.
We will allow walk-ins for both tournaments if the space is not filled, but we encourage pre-registration, as we generally fill up fairly quickly. In addition, because there are two events, and because the second event may run later than our usual closing time, we won’t be able to offer trading or casual place space after the tournaments end.
You’ll choose from ten Guild Prerelease Packs, which will cost $25 (plus tax) each. Each Guild Prerelease Pack contains four Dragon’s Maze booster packs, a Return to Ravnica booster pack and a guild-specific booster pack. Unlike the last few prereleases, while we will have a Prerelease promo, it won’t be included inside the guild Prerelease pack, and you won’t be allowed to use it in their decks during pre-release play. The guild Prerelease pack also won’t include a spindown life counter, sticker, or guild welcome letter.
Prize support will be in the form of Dragon’s Maze boosters.
In addition to the main Prerelease Tournament events, if space allows, we will offer Open Dueling, allowing any player who wants to play to purchase 1 Magic 2013 Intro Pack to play against each other, as well as Prerelease tournament players who are between matches.

Inns along your roads will double the value of your thieves, but if those features are not completed at the end of the game, no points will be scored. Plus, a large follower is added to the fray, as are the components for a sixth player and Point tiles for making following each player’s score easier.
Carcassonne Expansion 2: Traders & Builders This second expansion to Carcassonne adds a new dimension to the experience.
