On the third Monday of every month, Rogues Gallery will sponsor a casual gaming night – each month will focus on a different game. The game night will begin at 7:00 PM and run until 9:00 PM (or longer if needed). BJ’s happy hour ends at 7 PM, so if anyone wants to nab cheaper drinks, you might want to swing by a little early, we expect to be there around 6:45 to get things started.
This month’s game is on March 16th, and the game is Ticket to Ride, the game of racing cross-country on trains to various destinations. It’s a lot of fun, one of our favorite Days of Wonder games. So whether you’ve played it before or not, feel free to stop in for food, friends and Ticket to Ride!
Reading with Rogues! Astro City in March!
Every second Tuesday, we hold our graphic novel reading club! This month, we’ll be holding it at BJ’s Brewhouse in Round Rock!
The next meeting is on Tuesday, March 10th, starting at 7 PM and running until we run out of stuff to talk about (usually about 9:30 PM). Folks can come and go as they please, and we should have plenty of room.
The managers of Rogues Gallery will be on hand to talk about comics and hopefully get everybody chatting… we’re hoping to extend the vibe of our New Comics Wednesdays to everyone who maybe doesn’t get a chance to talk comics with their regular group of friends, or just can’t get enough comics talk.
Each meeting of the graphic novel club will have a book we choose as a headliner. We’ll offer a 15% discount on that book from the time of the announcement to the night of the graphic novel club. While we’re perfectly happy to have you bring one you already bought, we’re hoping folks will choose to buy this book from us rather than download it digitally or buy it somewhere else, to help us keep funding these get-togethers.
This month’s book is Astro City: Life in the Big City by Kurt Busiek & Brent Anderson. The 15% off sale starts effective now, and will run until we close at 9 PM on Tuesday, March 10th. (It’s always a good idea to remind the clerk at checkout about the discount.)
We’d love for folks to RSVP on the Facebook event page just so we can have a rough headcount, but walk-ins are absolutely welcome. And while we’ll focus the discussions around the graphic novel of the month, we’ll almost certainly be talking about other comics and graphic novels. Also, for the time being, since there’s alcohol available, it’s later at night and we’re probably going to be offering graphic novels that are aimed at an older audience, we’re making this an 18 and up event. If parents want to bring their 15-17 year olds, that’s OK, but just be aware that we may be talking about mature subject matter in the discussions.
We look forward to talking comics with you!

Gaming with Rogues! Pandemic in February!
On the third Monday of every month, Rogues Gallery will sponsor a casual gaming night each month will focus on a different game. The game night will begin at 7:00 PM and run until 9:00 PM (or longer if needed).
This month, we’re playing at BJ’s Brewhouse just up the road!
This month’s game is on February 16th, and the game is Pandemic, where players work cooperatively to stop four diseases from spreading and ending the world! Because it’s co-op, it’s easy to learn, and it’s one of our favorite games! So whether you’ve played it before or not, feel free to stop in for food, friends and Pandemic!
Rogues Gallery Ladies Night on Monday, February 9th!
LADIES! Do you like comics? Do you like games? Do you just enjoy getting your geek on? Are you looking to make some awesome new friends? Then join us for LADIES NIGHT, hosted by our lady staff!
With the recent closure of Homefield Grill, we’re changing locations to the Outback Steakhouse in Round Rock.
Meetings are on Mondays and the fun kicks off at 7 and goes until around 9. We talk about all things geeky, from comics to games to movies. As adult content will most likely be discussed and as there will be alcohol present, we are making this an 18 and up event. Moms! You are welcome to bring your daughters! 15-17 is the preferred age group on that.
I would also like to add that we do not discriminate here at Rogues Gallery. If you identify as female, you are most welcome at our table.
Food. Booze. Good company. What more could you ask for?
We’d love it if y’all could RSVP on the Facebook event, just so we can get a rough headcount.
Hope to see you there! 🙂

Star Wars Welcome Home Party!
Star Wars makes it triumphant return to Marvel Comics on Wednesday, January 14th and Rogues Gallery will be holding a Welcome Home Party to celebrate! From 10 AM – 3 PM on Wednesday, January 14th (or while supplies last), we’ll be selling copies of the new Star Wars #1 by Jason Aaron and John Cassaday, as well as offering almost ten different variant covers. The first forty people through the door who buy any copy of Star Wars #1 will get a free limited Skottie Young Star Wars print or a Star Wars #1 pin (one per customer) while supplies last.
We will also offer a 50% discount on all Dark Horse Star Wars trade paperbacks and single issues on that day, and a 15% off on all Star Wars boardgames, role-playing games and miniatures games, including the popular Star Wars X-Wing Miniatures Game.
Gaming with Rogues in January! Smash-Up!
On the third Monday of every month, Rogues Gallery will sponsor a casual gaming night. Each month will focus on a different game. The game night will begin at 7:00 PM and run until 9:00 PM. Since Homefield Grill is closing on December 31st, we are relocating this event to B.J.’s Brewhouse just up IH-35!
This month’s game is on January 19th, and the game is Smash Up, where players take two factions, such as pirates, ninja, robots, zombies, and more, and combine their decks into a force to be reckoned with! It’s quick to learn and play, and one of our favorites from boardgame nights, so whether you’ve played it before or not, feel free to stop in!
So drop by and enjoy friends, food, drinks and Smash Up!
Also, just as a reminder, we have in-store gaming at Rogues four nights a week! Mondays are Heroclix, Thursdays are D&D Encounters! Tuesday is Attack Wing open play with monthly organized play, Friday is open-play Magic the Gathering and Saturday is set aside for the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game! In addition, as long as the organized play isn’t taking up all the tables, we’re always open for board or card games on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights starting at 6 PM!
Reading with Rogues! Transmetropolitan Vol 1 in January!
Every second Tuesday, we hold our graphic novel reading club! This month, we’ll be holding it at the Fuddrucker’s just up the street from the store and then we’ll decide where we’re going to host it on a monthly basis from this point on.
The next meeting is on Tuesday, January 13th, starting at 7 PM and running until we run out of stuff to talk about (usually about 9:30 or 10:00 PM). Folks can come and go as they please, and we should have plenty of room.
