Our annual inventory clearance sale concludes this week! We’re clearing out a wide variety of graphic novels, games, miniatures, manga and other merchandise before doing our yearly inventory. Most of it is merchandise that hasn’t sold in the last couple years, although we do have some scratch and dent graphic novels and outdated demo games in the mix as well. In addition, we’re culling the majority of our action figures, including the Batman Animated line! The best selection will be available at the start and will dwindle as time goes on, so make sure and get in early! The discount begins at 65% and customers then roll 2d6 to add 2-12% onto that discount! Rogue Card members get a critical hit on their rolls, automatically earning 12% on the discount! This is your last chance to get stuff for 67-77% off!

Dungeons and Dragons Adventurers League!
D&D is as popular as we’ve ever seen it, and we’re doing our best to meet demand! We run multiple tables on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights!
Tuesday and Wednesday are the best nights for new players, while Thursday tends to be pretty full, and is heavily favored by veteran players. got new games starting in January!
We open up registration on Monday each week. You can call in on Monday to reserve a spot at the tables on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, or you can reserve your spot for the next week when you play during the week! The tables have been filling up quickly right now, but we’re doing our best to make sure we have more DMs and more tables so everyone gets a chance to play. If we’re full, we’ll put you on a wait list or you can call back later in the day to see if there have been cancellations.
If we have availability, we’re happy to have people play more than one night, but we’re trying to make sure everybody has a chance to play, so please be considerate of your fellow gamers!
Come on out, all you need is dice and a pencil, but if you have a character built to Adventurers League specifications, that’s good too! The game starts at 7 PM (although we recommend arriving by 6:45) and ends at or around 9 PM when we close.
Magic the Gathering Ravnica Allegiance Weekend on Saturday, February 16th!
Come out and celebrate the release of the Ravnica Allegiance set with open play on Saturday, February 16th! We’ll run a draft tournament for anyone interested with Allegiance booster cards as prizes, and anyone who comes out at all on the day will get a foil basic land and possibly promotional cards while availability lasts!
Magic the Gathering Ravnica Allegiance Prerelease Weekend!
Rogues Gallery will be running prerelease events for the new Magic set on Saturday *and* Sunday! We’ll be holding three events in total for Ravnica Allegiance, one on Saturday, January 19th, and two on Sunday, January 20th! We’ll have enough product and space for 20 players at each event. Even with the expanded tournaments, we expect space to fill up fast, so we recommend pre-registering, we can’t guarantee a spot for walk-ins, and we’ll only have enough prerelease product to support 60 players total!
You can call ahead or email to sign up starting now! If space allows, we are happy to allow players to play in multiple prerelease tournaments… players will have to buy-in to each tournament separately, and cannot carry cards or decks over from any of the other tournaments. In addition, we occasionally have no-shows, so if you don’t get in on your preferred time, you are welcome to sign up as an alternate or to come in on the day and try to get available spaces.
Each tournament will run three rounds, and should last about three and a half hours
Saturday Evening Tournament 5 PM – 9 PM (Sign-in from at 5 PM-5:20 PM, deck construction from 5:30-6, play from 6-9)
Sunday Early Tournament 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (Sign in from 12 PM-12:20 PM, deck construction from 12:30-1, play from 1-4)
Sunday Late Tournament 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Sign in from 4 PM-4:20 PM, deck construction from 4:30-5, play from 5-8)
Please note for those preregistered, you must arrive at least 10 minutes before deck construction begins to claim your spot or it will be opened up for walk-ins.
Prerelease packs will be $25.99 plus tax. As always, because of the need to get tournaments in before we close, we apologize that we won’t be able to offer trading or casual place space after the tournaments end.
Winners of each round will earn a Ravnica Allegiance booster, and the remainder of our boosters will be divided into first, second, and third prizes at the end of each tournament.
In addition to the main prerelease tournament events, we will have a limited number of Planeswalker decks and booster boxes for sale on prerelease weekend! You can special order a booster box ahead of time or buy on the day if we have any left once preorders are taken care of. Be among the first to get a look at Ravnica Allegiance during prerelease weekend!

Round Up For Charity!
Rogues Gallery Comics & Games is offering a new charitable donation system for our customers. If you’d like, you can “round up” your purchase to the nearest dollar amount, and at the end of the month, we’ll collect all the rounded-up amounts and send a check to that month’s charity.
We’ll also be matching the first $100 of donations each month.
This can be done with cash or card, and it’s as easy as asking the person ringing you up to round up your transaction. Our charities have included CBLDF, Hero Initiative, Austin Pets Alive!, American Cancer Society, CASA, OutYouth Austin, SAFE – Stop abuse for everyone (A merger of Austin Children’s Shelter and SafePlace), Girlstart, Bookspring, Central Texas Food Bank, and others!
Holiday Hours – December
We’ll be closed on New Year’s Day and Christmas Day so that our staff can celebrate the holidays. Also, if you have last minute holiday gifts to buy, we want to let you know the last chance we’ll have to place orders.
On Saturday, December 15th, we’ll close at 7 PM instead of 9 PM for our store holiday party. On Monday, December 24th, and Monday, December 31st, we’ll close at 7 PM instead of 9 PM for Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
We will be closed entirely on Tuesday, December 25th and Tuesday, January 1st. There will be new comics on both Wednesdays, although Wednesday, December 26th will be a small week of special releases, most notably from Marvel.
We’ll place our last comics order before Christmas on Sunday, December 16th and our last game order of the season on Sunday, December 23rd, so get those special order requests in before then!
Keyforge Tournaments in December!
Rogues Gallery will be holding a weekly Keyforge tournament during the month of December. For four Saturdays, starting on December 8th, we have room for up to eight players each week, from 1 PM – 3 PM (or however long the rounds take.) You do not have to play each week!
Players will either bring a Keyforge deck or buy one in-store (the decks Miss “Onyx” Censorius and Radiant Argus from the core box are not allowed, but all other decks are), and will play a series of one-game rounds, with the winner of each game advancing to the next round. So there will be up to eight players in the first round, up to four in the second, and two in the third. The winner of each round will earn a set of stun cards, the final winner will win a set of damage tokens, and all participants will earn an Active House card of their choice.
If interest is high, we’ll do a monthly tournament event in the first few weeks of January for up to 16 players, with prizes including power cards and a playmat!
As space is limited, please let us know either by email, phone, or by coming in to the store that you’d like to sign up for the tournament. We will do our best to have Keyforge decks available for purchase, although as our distributor has been low on stock, we recommend buying one now to play. Players must use the same deck throughout each tournament week, but can bring in a deck they’ve previously had to play, as long as it hasn’t been altered.
Black Friday Sale & Thanksgiving Hours
Our 10th annual Black Friday sale is coming on Friday, November 23rd. Come kick off your holiday shopping and earn bonus gift certificates!
From the time we open (10 AM) until the time we close (10 PM) on Friday, November 23rd, any purchase you make (excepting gift certificates and memberships) will also earn you bonus holiday gift certificates. For every $25 you spend, you’ll get $5 on a gift certificate, and you can break those up into individual $5 gift certificates, one big gift certificate with the whole amount or any other combination you choose. So for example, if you spend $100, you’ll get $20 in our special holiday gift certificates.
Rogue Card members will get a special bonus! If you show your Rogue Card, you will get a bonus $5 in gift certificates, even if you don’t hit the $25 threshold! And yes, you can buy a Rogue membership on Black Friday, although the $35 membership fee won’t count toward your total for gift certificates (that’s just not fair to everyone who bought them on other days).
So come on in and get a little extra bang for your holiday-shopping buck. Or pick up something for yourself and get some bonus money to give away as gifts. But make sure and stop in for this one-day event!
Boring Rules Stuff:
Just like our regular gift certificates, these have no expiration date, and can be used for anything in the store. We’ll be using these throughout the holiday season. They cannot be used on the day of purchase, but can be used as early as Saturday, November 24th.
The amount used to calculate bonus gift certificates is the pre-tax value of merchandise (within reason – a $24.99 or $24.95 item will get you the $5 gift certificate). $5 is given for each full $25, not a fraction thereof.
We will be closed on Thursday, November 22nd for Thanksgiving. There are no comic shipping delays related to Thanksgiving.
