Chew is one of the most buzzed-about new comics this year, and Rogues Gallery is throwing a party to celebrate the release of the trade paperback with writer John Layman and artist Rob Guillory signing the new Chew trade paperback. We’re the only store on the Chew mini-tour list that will have the full creative team in attendance.
Tony Chu is a cop with a secret. A weird secret. Tony Chu is Cibopathic, which means he gets psychic impressions from whatever he eats. It also means he’s a hell of a detective, as long as he doesn’t mind nibbling on the corpse of a murder victim to figure out whodunit, and why. It`s a dirty job, and Tony has to eat terrible things in the name of justice. And if that wasn`t bad enough, the government has figured out Tony Chu`s secret. They have plans for him… whether he likes it or not.

The party will start at 7:00 PM and continue until close, and everyone in attendance will be able to munch down on snacks from the Yakuza speakeasy, try their hand at the FDA agent training shooting gallery for prizes (including a rare first printing of the first issue!) or just indulge their inner cibopath by taking a bite out of our custom cake. And of course, folks can chat with the creative team of this new smash-hit series and pick up the first trade or get their issues of the series signed.
