D&D Game Days – August & September 2010

Rogues Gallery will be hosting official D&D Game Days on Saturday, August 21st and Saturday, September 11th! Both events will start at 1 PM and run until approximately 4 PM. You can sign up for either or both by dropping us an email at roguesgallerytx@gmail.com. We always try to have spots open for walk-ins, but the best way to guarantee a spot is to sign up ahead of time!

On August 21st, bring your friends and join in the fun as we celebrate the return of the beloved fan-favorite world Dark Sun, a campaign setting of harsh survival and savage enemies in a blasted land. The Lost Cistern of Aravek, a separate adventure from the D&D Encounters Dark Sun adventure, involes a remarkable device discovered in the wastes near the city-state of Tyr – a magical cistern created by a long-dead preserver named Aravek. You are charged to journey through the harsh desert lands, brave fierce monsters, and retrieve the cistern before your enemies can claim it for their own cruel master. Can you bring a font of live-giving water to a parched populace? Or will you succumb to dangers beyond the gates of Tyr? A Dark Sun adventure for 4-6 pregenerated 4th-level characters. Sign up now to guarantee a spot in the game! We’ll have 6 spots guaranteed, and may open up another table if there’s enough demand.

Then on September 11th, come celebrate the release of the new D&D Essentials line of products and the new Dungeons & Dragons Fantasy Roleplaying Game with a classic-style adventure and a retro game experience! Venture into Sunderpeak Temple, long a bastion of good on the edges of the wildernes that has succumbed to an unknown threat. You have been tasked to journey to the site of the temple and find out what has befallen its residents, as the priests are needed to destroy an enchanted skill imbued with necromantic magic. Will you face down the dark denizens that dwell within and learn the truth of the temple’s fate? A Dungeons & Dragons adventure designed for 4-6 pregenerated characters of 2nd level.
