After a brief holiday hiatus, D&D Encounters returns starting next Thursday! Rogues Gallery will be running two tables as usual, both featuring the D&D Next Playtest Rules! The new season is called Against the Cult of Chaos, and it takes inspiration from classics such as Village of Hommlet and Against the Cult of the Reptile God. As always, we recommend calling ahead after we open (at 10 AM) on Thursday to secure your spot, as there are only 12 spots available each week. You don’t have to play each week, although you are of course welcome to come every week if you’d like.
You don’t need to have any prior experience with D&D to play, and the only thing you need to bring with you is a pencil, and dice if you have them.
Players who are signed up for the D&D Next Playtest may create their own characters. Players who are NOT signed up for the D&D Next Playtest, but wish to participate in this season of Encounters using D&D Next rules, will use pre-generated characters provided by the DM.
The game begins at 7 PM, although we encourage folks to show up a little early to get settled in so that the game can begin right at 7.
