storefrontWe have been the source for comics and games in the Round Rock/Williamson County area since 2001. We offer a wide variety of comics, graphic novels, board games, card games, roleplaying games, comic-themed t-shirts, and more.

We are located in Round Rock, Texas in the Renaissance Square shopping center, between Once Upon A Child and Cici’s Pizza. Our address is 1601 S IH-35 #330. We’re listed as South IH-35 because we’re south of Main Street in Round Rock, which confuses some GPS devices (and occasionally Google Maps). If your electronic finder device of choice is having trouble finding us, try plugging in Outback Steakhouse Round Rock – that’ll get you right to us.

We are open from 10 AM – 9 PM most days. We are open a touch later on Fridays to accommodate our Friday Night Magic, and 12 PM – 7 PM on Sundays.

We carry a wide variety of comics in single issues and graphic novels. We do not have older back issues or vintage comics, due largely to space restrictions. We get new comics and graphic novels every Wednesday (they’re on the shelves when we open), and restocks on graphic novels and single issue comics on Wednesday afternoons when UPS arrives (usually by 4 PM). We always have the list of comics coming in each week on our website and Facebook page, usually by the Sunday before they arrive.

We offer an in-store subscription service that allows customers to put series or graphic novels on-hold and pick them up weekly or monthly. For details, see our In-Store Subscription link on the main page.

We do not buy or trade comics.

We carry boardgames, card games and role-playing games. We get new game shipments in every Monday and Thursday afternoon.

We do not carry video games.

Open Gaming

We have two standing game tables available for free play, as long as they aren’t reserved for other use.

Our hope is that folks can use this space to discuss games in a fun, friendly manner, but most importantly, use it to find like-minded people to play games with in our store game space, which is available free of charge during our regular hours of 10 AM – 9 PM most days, and 12 PM – 7 PM on Sundays, as long as there aren’t other games scheduled… see below:

HEROCLIX: Monday┬ánight from 6:45 – 9 PM is mostly reserved for Heroclix, although there is enough room to accommodate a game table or two with warning.

DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: Thursday night is our D&D Adventurers League. We run four tables of up to 7 players each, and we tend to fill up, so we recommend calling on Thursday morning (not before, we require the call on the day of so that we can minimize last minute cancellations taking up spaces for people who want to play) and we don’t have room for other games during this time, from about 6:30 – 9 PM on Thursdays.

MAGIC THE GATHERING: We run a friendly, casual Magic space aimed at new, casual, and/or younger players on Friday nights from 6:30 – 10 PM on Fridays, and do not have extra table space available during this time.

SPECIAL EVENTS: We occasionally run special events that take up our game space, notably Free Comic Book Day (first Saturday in May), International Tabletop Day (a Saturday in April), All-Ages Awesomeness (a Saturday in June), and a few others.

The tables are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, you can also reserve the tables for a 3 hour window, and we can have a standing reservation if someone wants to run a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly game.

We ask that those with a reserved game slot arrive within 15 minutes of the start time, or we reserve the right to offer the space to someone else.

We are happy to support organized play if there is an interest, and can order organized play kits if you have a group that is interested in purchasing them. If we can get a big enough group for organized play, Rogues Gallery will provide organized play kits and prizes, although we will at that point ask that anyone be allowed to play in tournaments.

Breaking these rules can result in a warning, a temporary suspension of table privileges, or a ban on future use of game tables, at the discretion of management.

P.S. We’d like to ask that folks not use the tables for sitting and reading, to keep them available for use in playing board, card, and role-playing games.

Details can be found on our event pages, linked from the main page.

In-Store Gaming Rules:
1. We’re a family store – please keep cursing/swearing to a minimum – even if a red dragon just ate your favorite character.
2. Keep other shoppers in mind when you’re playing – We want you to enjoy yourself, but make sure and keep shopping aisles clear and keep the noise level reasonable.
3. Food is allowed (within reason), we just ask you to be careful not to spill on the product, tables, other gamers, etc.
4.We expect everyone to be a courteous winner and a gracious loser, especially if you’re playing with strangers. A little friendly banter is fine, but smack talk and whining will not be tolerated.
5. Showing up a little early is encouraged. It’s important that our staff is able to close up on time and get home, so we try not to run gaming late if possible.
6. Clean up after yourself. Trash cans are in the bathroom and up at the counter.
Staffers’ and DMs’ decisions are final. ┬áIf you have an issue, feel free to email or call the management, but arguing with the staff or DM at the time is not acceptable.

We have a Facebook page that we update regularly with information on new comics, new games, events and other items of interest to our customers. It is also linked to our Twitter account, @roguesgallery, so information is available on Twitter as well, although if you want to send us messages and interact with us, we’re much more likely to be on Facebook than Twitter.

Rogues Gallery Dispatch

We have a weekly email newsletter that goes out on Sunday nights or Monday afternoons. It has a listing of any events, comics coming out on Wednesday, games that have come out in the last week and upcoming comics and games for the next couple of months. If you’d like to be added to the Rogues Gallery Dispatch, you can send an email to with the subject line “Add me to the Dispatch.”
